Managing your Zillo Pro subscription

Add Zillo Pro from Settings → Add-ons, update your card or cancel anytime from the billing portal. If a payment fails you get a few days' grace before Pro features pause, and your store and data are never touched.

Managing your Zillo Pro subscription

Everything to do with Pro lives in Settings → Add-ons — adding it, updating your card, viewing invoices, and cancelling are all self-serve from there. (New to Pro? Start with What is Zillo Pro?.)

Add Zillo Pro

    1. Open Settings → Add-ons.
    2. Click "Add Zillo Pro". You'll go to a secure checkout page.
    3. Enter your card and confirm. Pro switches on as soon as the payment clears.

Pro is billed to the card you enter here — separately from how your customers pay you. It has nothing to do with your payouts or your 3%-per-sale price.

Update your card or cancel

    1. Open Settings → Add-ons.
    2. Click "Manage billing". This opens your billing portal.
    3. Update your card, view invoices, or cancel — whatever you need.

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, then it ends — there's no early cut-off and no penalty for cancelling. You can re-add Pro any time later in a couple of clicks.

Your invoices and receipts are all in the billing portal under Manage billing — handy at tax time or for your bookkeeper.

If a payment fails

A failed renewal isn't the end of the world. We retry your card for a few days and your Pro features stay on the whole time. You'll see a reminder in your dashboard — just update your card from Manage billing and you're sorted.

If the retries don't succeed within the grace window, Pro pauses and the extras switch off (see below). Nothing is lost — add a working card and Pro turns back on.

What happens if Pro ends

Whether you cancel or a payment lapses, your store and all your data are never affected — only the Pro extras switch off:

    1. Custom domain & custom email sender stop being used (your store falls back to its .zillo.app address and Zillo's sender).
    2. Manual sales, bulk import, the developer tools, and the custom report builder are no longer available until you add Pro again. (Your standard reports and CSV export stay free.)
    3. Growth features — abandoned-cart recovery, checkout upsells, waitlists and event reminders — stop running, and your saved settings for them are kept for when you return.
    4. Zillo branding returns to your storefront and emails.

Everything you created while on Pro stays put — your products, customers, tags, notes, orders and gift cards are all untouched. The features simply pause; your data doesn't. Re-add Pro and the extras pick up right where they left off.

If you were already using the API or webhooks before Zillo Pro launched, those keep working — you're grandfathered in. Pro is only required to create new ones.
