Customer tags & notes

Every Zillo plan already shows you who your customers are — lifetime spend, repeat rate, order history and lifecycle (new, active, VIP, lapsed). Zillo Pro adds the ability to act on that: tag customers and keep private notes, so your dashboard works like a lightweight CRM.

Where to find it

    1. Open Customers.
    2. Click a customer to open their profile.
    3. Use the Tags & notes card to add tags and notes.

Tags

Tags are short labels you assign to customers — for example VIP, wholesale, allergic to nuts, or event regular. Add a tag and press Enter; remove one with the ✕. Use them to mark and group customers however your business thinks about them.

Notes

Notes are free-form and private to your team — the customer never sees them. Keep a record of a conversation, a preference, or anything worth remembering next time they order.

Tags and notes are visible to everyone on your team, but never to customers. They're part of Zillo Pro; the customer insights and history views stay free for everyone.

Reaching a group of customers

To actually email or text a segment of customers, connect Klaviyo — Zillo syncs your customers and their activity there, where you run the campaigns.
