Conversion pixels (GA4, Meta & TikTok)

Add your Google Analytics 4, Meta and TikTok pixel IDs (a Zillo Pro feature) so storefront views and purchases report back to your ad accounts for tracking and retargeting.

Conversion pixels (GA4, Meta & TikTok)

If you run ads, you need to see which clicks turn into sales. Conversion pixels let Google, Meta and TikTok record storefront views and purchases against your ad campaigns, so you can measure return and build retargeting audiences.

Conversion pixels are part of Zillo Pro.

Add your pixels

    1. Add Zillo Pro from Settings → Add-ons if you haven't already.
    2. Open Settings → Integrations.
    3. Under Conversion pixels, paste any of your IDs — Google Analytics 4 (e.g. G-XXXXXXX), Meta Pixel, or TikTok Pixel — and save.

You only need to fill in the platforms you use; leave the others blank.

What gets tracked

Once you've added a pixel ID, two events fire on your live storefront:

  • PageView — on every page (landing, product detail, cart, checkout, confirmation).
  • Purchase — on the order confirmation page, with the order ID, total amount, currency, and line items, so your ad platform can attribute revenue.

Pixels only fire on your public storefront subdomain (or your connected custom domain) — never in the dashboard preview. Internal testing won't pollute your ad-attribution data.

Where to find each pixel ID

Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID)

Format: G-XXXXXXXXXX

    1. Sign in to analytics.google.com.
    2. Open Admin → Data Streams and select your web stream.
    3. Copy the Measurement ID shown at the top right.

Meta Pixel ID

Format: 15–16 digit number (e.g. 1234567890123456)

    1. Open Meta Events Manager.
    2. Select your pixel (or create one under Data Sources → Web).
    3. Copy the Pixel ID shown beneath the pixel name.

TikTok Pixel ID

Format: alphanumeric (e.g. CXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)

    1. Sign in to TikTok Ads Manager.
    2. Go to Assets → Events → Web Events and select your pixel.
    3. Copy the Pixel ID from the pixel details panel.

Verify it's working

  • Meta — install the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension and visit your storefront. You should see your pixel ID with a green check and PageView / Purchase events as you browse.
  • Google Analytics 4 — in GA4, open Reports → Realtime. Active users appear within a minute of visiting the storefront.
  • TikTok — install the TikTok Pixel Helper Chrome extension to confirm events fire on each page.

It can take up to 20 minutes for events to appear in the ad platforms' standard reporting dashboards. Realtime / Test Events views update much faster.

Removing a pixel

Clear the input for any platform on the integrations page and click Save pixels. That pixel will stop loading on your storefront immediately.
