- Add-ons and upgrades
Attach optional extras to a product — a drink on arrival, a photographer, merch — that customers add at checkout. Group them into a required, choose-one menu (like a banquet menu) when a selection is mandatory before checkout can continue.
- Hold a card and no-show fees
Secure a free or low-cost booking by retaining the customer's card at checkout, then charge a no-show fee from the booking if they don't turn up. Prepayment isn't required — the card is only charged when you choose to.
- Taking appointments and reservations
Let customers book a time from your live availability — one-on-one appointments (salon, spa, coaching) or shared seated reservations (restaurant, tasting room). You set the hours and the rules; the store generates the open times and never double-books.
- Bookable resources and availability
Resources are the people, tables, and rooms customers book against — a stylist, a therapist, a table, a tasting room. Each has its own weekly hours and days off, and the store builds bookable times from them.
- Letting customers cancel or reschedule
Give customers a self-service way to cancel or reschedule their own booking from the link in their confirmation email — within the cutoff and refund rules you set per experience.
- Security at Zillo
How Zillo keeps your store, your team, and your customers' data safe — encryption, two-factor authentication, payment data handling, audit logging, and what to do if you receive a customer data request.
