Creating a manual sale

Record a sale you took off-platform, issue a free $0 comp order, or email a customer a Stripe payment link — all from Orders → New manual sale. Manual sales are part of Zillo Pro.

Creating a manual sale

Sometimes a sale happens away from your storefront — a customer paid by bank transfer, you want to give someone a freebie, or you just want to send a pay-now link. Orders → New manual sale handles all three.

Manual sales are part of Zillo Pro. Your storefront checkout works the same as always without it.

Create one

    1. Open Orders and click "New manual sale".
    2. Pick the product and the quantity, and enter the customer's email (and name, optionally).
    3. Choose how it's paid (below), then create the sale.

The three options

    1. Record as paid — the customer already paid you elsewhere (cash, bank transfer, an invoice). The order is fulfilled straight away and the customer gets their gift card / ticket / etc.
    2. Free / comp ($0) — a gratis order. The price is set to $0, nothing is charged, and it's fulfilled immediately. Great for prizes, comps, and replacements.
    3. Send payment link — we create a secure Stripe payment link, email it to the customer, and give you the link to share too. The order is fulfilled automatically the moment they pay.

Need a custom price for this one sale (say, a negotiated rate or a variable gift-card amount)? Use the unit price override field. Leave it blank to use the product's normal price.

Payment links need a connected Stripe account in live mode. If you're in Test mode or haven't finished Stripe onboarding, use "Record as paid" or "Free / comp" instead — those don't touch Stripe.
